Thursday, 9.40am - A PENSIONER'S purse was stolen from her handbag while she was shopping in a Grantham supermarket on Tuesday.
A thief grabbed the 85-year-old woman's purse in Morrisons, in the Isaac Newton Centre, at around 11.50am.

The pensioner told police she remembered being stopped by a woman who asked about meat shortly before noticing her purse, containing £25 and a bank card, was missing.

The woman is described as in her late 20s to early 30s with dark hair, and wearing a red jumper and light trousers.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have any information on the young woman, can call Grantham Police Station on 01476 402222.
