Learn about everything 'green' at craft workshops

There will be creative crafts, collages and even composting workshops to keep youngsters happy at Woolsthorpe Manor, near Colsterworth, during the summer holidays.
The creative craft workshops all have an environmental theme.

In Windmills and Animal Masks, where children will learn about which animals will be affected by climate change and create their own masks to wear or windmills to take home (August 15). Another will focus on making collage pictures from recycled materials (August 21, 22).

There will be a Green Fair tomorrow, August 2, at which visitors can learn about everything from composting to keeping bees and sustainable building techniques.

Until Sunday, September 7, visitors will be able to see a poster display of images selected from the major national photographic exhibition – Exposed: Climate Change in Britain's Backyard – which last year toured the country.

Normal admission prices apply with an extra £1 per activity for the craft workshops.
